As a small child, I woke on many occasions in the middle of the night to the sound of someone going through the utensil cupboard and then the noise of footsteps on the creaky floorboards. It never really bothered my until the night I woke with my bed being violently shaken. My parents moved me to a different bed room and I never experienced the middle of the night antics again.
When I was 12, we moved house. This one, like the first, was a brand new home. 6 years on and it was decided to turn the void under the house into a flat. It was my ideal escape from the rest of the family. When I moved in, strange things started to happen. Alarm on the stove going off now & then which didn't bother me at first then, the lights would go off in different rooms & being locked in the bathroom. This went on for months. I would go to bed at night and beg it to leave me alone. I'd finally had enough when the doors started to slam. I move back up stairs until the day I got married and left.
I had never seen this spirit but my exBIL did just 2 nights before he married my sister. He told me that he was in bed when next to him was a faceless man wearing a hat appeared. He couldn't move, he felt it had place him in a frozen state. My mother saw it not long after but hasn't seen it since.
When DD1 was younger she would stay at my parents house but was always upset if she slept in a particular room. In the end, she became so upset about spending night there we decided that it was better just to keep it to day visits. I often thought that maybe she was experiencing some of the things I had when I was young.
Fast forward to tonight. It was dad's birthday so we thought we'd surprise him and stop by. He has been doing more renovations under the house and wanted to show DH what he had achieved. DD1 (16) was getting bored like teenager's usually do so when they were taking their time went down to see what was going on. Dad & DH in one room, her in the hallway and she turn to the bedroom and sees the faceless man with a hat on standing in the door way. I had never spoken a word to her about the things that I experienced there so it wouldn't have been her imagination. By the time she got back upstairs, she was in hysterics, holding her chest crying that she was experiencing extreme pain.
Who is this faceless man? Why has he been tormenting my family on and off for over 25 years and now my daughter? How do we get him to move on?
Have my parents built on his resting place?
have you had a look through old records to see what was on the land before the house.
In my experiences, entities stay with a place not just a building.
Its not great that he is scaring you and family but Im guessing that means he has something he wants known?
