Where is your favorite holiday destination?

We love Ettalong beach but looking for somewhere else beachy

We are in Sydney looking to travel 2-3hrs at most (bub isn't a good traveller)

My favourite holiday destination is much further than 2-3 hours because I love the Northern Rivers, North Coast area of NSW.

3.5hours north you have Forster - beaches and lakes.

We stayed near Nelson's Bay as kids. Close to Anna & Shoal bay's. Smaller beachy places close to Nelson's.

Port Macquarie is only a few hours & has smaller beachy towns around it

Between Coffs & Kempsey are some amazing places, but they are a couple hours further.

I second the Batemans Bay area. It's beautiful and there alot of other places to visit for day trips from there. We had an awesome time there.
Another beautiful place is Kiama. I went there with a friend as a kid and loved it. Though that was a LONG time ago now! It has likely changed....
Though it's a bit further than 3 hours (a bit less that 5 I think!) Forster is a great place too.

I grew up in Anna bay love it there we are moving back as we live it soo much heaps to do aswell

i think anywhere along the south coast is lovely. I just came back from a week at Bermagui and we had so much fun. narooma which is just before it has the lovelist blue water around. But it is a bit further then you say. kiama is lovely. That is a day trip place for us and we love going there. The have great seaside markets that are once a month. There are 2 blowholes and you would likely see whales this time of year. Places like berri are a close and a nice drive to do while down there and there are so many different beaches to go to within short driving distance.
