    Hormone sensitive and contraceptives

Ok girls I need ideas on contraceptives when I talk to my gp about at it our 6wk checkup. I am yet to find a pill that doesn't give me migranes, or make me fat and angry and depressed so I'm looking for ideas on other contraceptives. When I'm on nothing I get really bad PMS and migranes around AF as well! I originally went on the pill as a teen to try and combat it but they all have made it worse in some way (even if they have improved it in other ways) if that makes sense. I plan on bf for a good long while so needs to be bf friendly too. We are also not finished having babies and will want to start TTC again in 2 or so years. Wow how picky am I! Lol are there any contraceptives that fit that bill?

I'd personally have a look at iud's. There's a new one, the marina I think which is pretty good. I got my tubes tied so I don't think that's an option for you lol!

My obstetrician recommended the marina too. I tried 4 different pills when I was last using it for contraception and couldn't find one that helped with my migraines and worked properly. I was told I could have it inserted from whenever my period returns which hasn't happened yet so can't give you any more info. Will be interested to see what other options people suggest too.

Have you considered a diaphragm hon? It has the same level of protection as condoms and feels much more natural. I am also no good with the pill- makes me pms' all the time so we really like the diaphragm.
