Boil and cosleeping

Hi all

I started with a pimple that got bigger and bigger and noe it is inflammed and the around 10 cms abcess across my back.

I went to see doc and she said its a boil and now im on antibiotics

Thing is i read up and it is highly contagious and i cosleep with my dds.

Now im freaking out that i might have cause my two daughters to get boils???

Im panicking now coz it was pusy yesterday

Have they touched the pus or the skin around the boil?

If not, then you are fine as my understanding is that the pus holds the bacteria which can be passed on.

No they have not but i dont think i was vigilant enough when the pus came out in washing my hands.

I washed my hands but not for 10 to 15 mins
