    What's in your cubby house?

We've just ordered an awesome wooden cubby for DD for Xmas and I'm starting to think about what to put in it.

We have a small table and chairs, and a small wooden kitchen (she currently has this inside but is getting an upgrade from Nana so the old one can go outside).

But what else besides kitchen things?

Looking for ideas for storage too and maybe something to attach to a wall...

we put in a little battery operated light on the wall for winter months when the evenings came ovre quick. i also have one of those bright plastic tubs for storage. have some little chairs on the verandah...also an old dolly cradle. think that's about it (other than the kitchen and plates etc)

A little broom and brush/dustpan, curtains, roll of paper with pencils etc and a chalk board with magnetic board on the other side. On the outside we have things like telescope/periscope, steering wheels, letterbox, flower boxes and little watering can

My girls have our old fax machine and a stove. It has a little bench inside it so they can put stuff on it. But it's not a huge one and now that they are bigger, most of the stuff gets pulled out while they play - you can't fit a table and chair in there at all. But we have our cubby on the verandah of the house, so they have it all spread out along the verandah so the cubby is merely just a room in their sprawl LOL.

We have an oven/stove, kitchen sink, bookcase, chalk board and a food storage cupboard. I now want to get table and chairs for the patio bit and a sand box

Lots of great ideas here! Might see if I can do a chalkboard that I can hang up flat against the wall. Probably painting blackboard paint onto a big piece of wood would work. Storage tub is good idea too - don't want there to be toys all over the place. It has a good sized verandah so we might leave the table and chairs out on that so there's more room inside. Oh and a light is a great idea too!

Just for christmas you could get a small teeny tiny little christmas tree to put up inside too. you know the baby little ones that you could probably get in one of the Hot Dollar type shops! And maybe some photo frames for the wall so she can put photos of her family up? Big W had cute little white ones a few months ago that were only a couple of dollars each.
