My DH is doing it. He lost 6.5kg in the first week. Even assuming a lot of that is water, he's doing well. He needs a new belt, as his current one is too big. He's been doing it about 3 weeks now. I started it then had a binge session. Whilst I'm not going to keep at it stricly, for my own reasons, I am trying to eat smaller portions more frequently and cut down on the sugar.
TBH, it's just a reworking of the South Beach Diet. Even some of the recipes are the same. If you want the support of a community, it may be worth it but if you can manage by yourself, I'd just by the South Beach book & cookbook or see if they have something online. I did South Beach years ago and it worked for me.
My dh was doing it. I was as well. I found the first 3 days really hard. I struggle to eat twice a day let alone 6. Dh stopped as it became hard to maintain that sort,of discipline with meal times when at work.
He can't just eat when he wants due to his job. It does work tho and works well. I lost 3 kg in 4 days and I wasn't following g it as perfectly as I should have. Dh lost 10kg in 6 weeks
So yes to answer your question. It does work but you have to remain disciplined.
Thanks ladies!! So it's similar to the south beach diet? Maybe I should check out eBay and see if I can find an old copy online. I have a hard time parting with all that money for paper!! I won't use the online support I'm just too busy and really not into it. Can someone give me a rough run down on the routine that needs to be followed?
