    outside school hours care?

Hello, do you get any sort of centre link rebate for using before and after school care at your child's school? How does it all work? Tia

    depends on the care provider

if they are an approved care provider through FAO, you'll be entitled to CCB and CCR (if you qualify for those payments)
if it is a registered care provider, you may be eligible for registered care rebates
i started a thread a little while ago here which outlines the details for approved and registered care

Our school uses Camp Australia for Before and After school. I get a rebate for the boys with them.
    We get a reduced rate.

When you register the kids with the care provider, you put all your Centrelink details in and they then take your eligible rate off.

    outside school hours care?

Thanks bg, can't get through to that link right now as I am on my phone. Will have a look later when on computer. I know the provider is camp Australia but I will have to look up whether they qualify.

i would assume if it's a camp australia centre they will be approved so you'll get a reduction to fees per approved care set up

It's also a reduced rate for the School Holiday program. We also get the 50% rebate as well as it qualifies for registered care.
If you are registered with Centrelink online, you can see all the care details, dates and rebates online as well through your Centrelink account.

i had to correct cos so many people mess up between registered care and approved care - it really isn't the best terminology for the general consumer to use - so i thought i'd just correct. don't take it personally hun
