Last pregnancy I lost 14kg of the 19kg that I put on just by breast feeding but as soon as I stopped it all piled back on plus some.
I'm wanting to be extra careful this time and a bit smarter about it.
I've been reading into the "lose baby weight" smoothie system which appears to be sensible and safe for breast feeding mothers.
Has anyone been on this program? What did you think? What did you like? What didn't you like? I'm not looking for a hardcore program, just something simple and easy with minimal planning etc. If its no good ill just go with simple eating and low impact exercise.
I haven't tried that one but I had success with Weight Watchers Breastfeeding program and I know others who have with the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation BF program. I know both of these provide balanced diets for BF mums and have proper meal plans which is generally better and more sustainable than a meal replacement program.
Rach I've lost 25kgs with LBW. I really like the program. More so the actual eating plan, but I have the shakes too. I only use them sporadically. I loved them and then got gastro, and now I have a food aversion to them lol.
Congratulations kim, that's quite a huge achievement! Bad luck about the gastro
Is there a particular program u are doing?
Thanks for your response nai, I was unaware that WW had a breastfeeding program I started 12wbc last year but fell off the wagon as I don't think I was mentally ready to help myself. I will look into them both
I haven't put on much weight this time round but was over weight to begin with.
