    baby stroller

    Hi

just want some advice. we are off down the gold coast in january for a week and i am thinking i might get a cheap stroller to take across from hotel to beach just so i dont have to carry DS as he is getting quite heavy lol! I am thinking of just getting a cheapie from either kmart or big w. the umbrella fold type stroller. What i want to know is will i really need a fold back stroller for say a 10-20 min walk at most? I am still giong to take my normal pram for proper outings during the day. DS will have just turned 1!!

If anyone has any opinions on good strollers they have bought please feel free to share!

i used an umbrella stroller from 5 or 6 months without a problem, and it didn't lay back at all. a 1 year old will be fine.

my mum got a cheapy from kmart for around $20, and loves it. The handles aren't really high, which can be a hassle if you are tall and using it alot but for a sometimes pusher it is fine.

We only use an umbrella strolled once over 6mths. All my kids have loved them. Doesn't matter that it does lie down, its not like you leave them to sleep in there for hours

We have one for holidays that does lay back, coincidently it's called a holiday stroller, from Big W, was about $70. We use it lots as tend to go away a few times a year. Mum keeps it the rest of the time as she has DS once a week
