DS has been waking frequently after 2-3am. Today we started the day at 5am. Not a happy mummy. Anyway....
We never coslept with DD, as after being discharged from NICU and SCN they gave a stern warning about cosleeping and SIDS and basically telling us if we coslept our premmie would die.
DS has slept in our bed for at least 2 hours every night for most of his life.
Last night he was in his Big Boy Room. DH and I went to bed at 9.30 and snuggle and go to sleep.
Wake up and it's some ungodly hour and DS is spread eagle, fast asleep between DH and I.
How did that happen!? LOL
DH is fine with the fact that DS sleeps with us, but wasn't too happy the other morning. DS was asleep between us and woke up and started scratching DH's back with his little needle-y fingernails.
That's hilarious that you don't remember how he got there! Fantastic it's working for you well. I've loved sleeping with all my babies....and toddlers....and preschoolers (on occasion)!
I've done that before. I have also woken and freaked out because the baby wasn't in my bed and though she should be! When I had DS1 I just co slept full time! It's so much easier, the kids sleep through (not that I do, but hey, I get more sleep co sleeping than if I don't!) and I don't have to get out of bed, especially in winter! DS2 has co slept full time too.
Lol I have done that so many times! In fact DS3 starts the night in his bassinet and I bring him to our bed if/when hr wakes and I think I'll fall asleep in the chair. (safer to take him back to bed and feed rather both of us fall asleep in the chair.)
With DS2 it became so much a habit, I didn't remember getting him.
Nothing like a cuddle from DD after a hard day's work!

Lol
I cosleep with dd and dd2
I remember when dd was 3 she wanted to sleep in her so she went there to sleep. I missed her so much i went to sleep with her in her single bed!
Unfort that didnt last long and shes back in my bed now lol
naww. pretty funny you don't remember =P. We have Spock's cot up against our bed. I always settle her in her cot, but often wake up and she has rolled/wiggled herself onto our bed and snuggled into me. The first time I was scared, thinking how did I not notice she had done it! but now it happens so often that it's normal to find her in our bed.
