    Something is eating my mint!

A few weeks ago my mint looked great. Now it's very obvious setting is eating it. Some leaves are completely gone and the rest have holes in them.

Any idea of what it could be and what I can do to rectify the situation?

There will be some big fat juicy green caterpillars on it somewhere. They seem to find my mint every year too. I used to spray with pyrethrum. Now i don't bother as i have enough mint to get through the year and they don't eat that much. Just make it look a bit scruffy. But there are natural alternatives to pyrethrum too.

Add two tablespoons of soap flakes to one litre of water and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved (this is quicker in warm water). There is no need to dilute this further, just spray it on as is.

Sorry I only jus got back to this - I've had a hectic week. You are absolutely right! I just went and investigated and found a few. My flat leaf parsley and some of my tomato leaves are also looking a bit sad so I'm gonna try to find something to combat them today. My garden was looking fantastic a few weeks ago!
