    Can a 3 yr old child still get measles even if they are vaccinated? Tia

    Yes, anyone can still get any illness they have been vaccinated against. Vaccination is not 100% effective. Ever.

    DD2 had suspected measles, the only way they could confirm it was via a blood test which I declined.

    all ok. just a nasty viral rash. will keep an eye on him tonight and if he gets a fever take him to emergency. phew!

    olive if your kids are ever sick on a weekend, the after hours gp next to the angliss is amazing. no wait at all, doctors are really thorough and it's free.
