Can you contact the store you purchased it from with a copy of the receipt? Did you pay for it by EFTPOS or Credit card? If so will the transaction on the statement for the store be enough to prove time of purchase??
Agggghhhh, the switch on the nursery unit of my monitor has broken and Angelcare told me if I just emailed them a copy of my receipt they'd send me out another.
Of course I cant find the receipt. I only bought it in September and its still under warranty, have searched the house high and low but I was probably still in newborn bliss and put it somewhere 'safe' or have accidently thrown it out in my newborn house tidying daze at the time
Does anyone have the same monitor and still have a receipt I could use? Needs to be less than 12 months old. I just need a photo or scan of the receipt to email through. Its the Angel Care Sound and Movement Monitor Model Number AC201

I paid with credit card at target, I know the date and time and the transaction is on my credit card statement
How annoying that it's broken already!
It might be worth going back to Target and asking for a reprint of the receipt? I'm not sure if they can, but it's worth a shot!
Target will honour your statement. I've done that before.

As per our phone conversation today re the Faulty Switch on our AC201 Nursery Unit I am sending you an email re proof of purchase. The button that switches between turning the sensor off/on/and the tic on seems ‘lose’ and wont switch now, the sensor button is therefore permanently on.
Frustratingly, despite thinking I had kept it, I can’t find the receipt. I have been searching my house and paperwork without success. My daughter was only 7 weeks new when we bought it and there is every chance I have thrown in out in my newborn haze.
I’ve attached a picture of the unit, and of the Target transaction on my Credit Card on 19/9/12 ( I paid $199 but had other things in the purchase of $223) and my daughter’s birth certificate showing she was born 25/7/12 to hopefully give you assurance that the monitor was purchased within the 12 month warranty period.
I am also willing to send the faulty nursery unit in to you, or can ask if Target are able to reissue me the register receipt if required. Please advise if any of these suggestions are suitable.
Hoping you can assist me with a replacement.

Just want to say too. I know your desperate but I wouldn't recommend anyone part with their own receipt for their own warranty. And also it's pretty much fraudjust putting it out there. I'm sure target will sort it out. If not the ACCC will for sure.
