DD is 9 1/2 weeks old and caught a cold a few days ago. She's snuffling and snorting as she breastfeeds and slept more than usual yesterday. She's also trying to cough up phlegm from the back of her throat.
Apart from warm steamy baths and using saline drops, is there anything else I can do to help clear the mucous from her nasal passages and throat?
We've also tried the nasal aspirator but no luck.
Any ideas?
Thanks :-)
I've got a snot sucker thing called a Nosefrida that works really well. Elevate the head of the cot a little. But yeah, otherwise it sounds like you're doing all you can.
