Central coast nsw restaurant recommendations and places to go kid friendly!

If any BBers are locals I'd really appreciate good restaurant recommendations that are kid friendly. We'd be eating early 5ish but want to stay away from nasty touristy places if at all possible.

Also any hidden gems to visit and a kid friendly beach would be great as I know there are a few rough ones around. Thanks!!!

where abouts are you staying? Wallarah Bay Rec Club, just near Toukley have a kids eat free night on Thursdays, as well as a kids club where the kids can play (for free.) The food is really good there too, and it's right on the water so very picturesque.

The Entrance club as well (I think it's called The Greens?) has an all you can eat. Maybe check out Wyong Leagues Club as well. Toukley Rsl club have a kids disco every 2nd friday night as well.

In terms of places to go, The Entrance have pelican feeding everyday at 3:30 which the kids would love, plus a kids water play park that's free. They usually have fair's and carnivals on the weekends as well, and school holidays. The Entrance beach is really nice too, there's water baths down the end.

Terrigal beach is also really lovely, very similar to Manly or Bondi where the town starts right at the beaches edge. Seems pretty friendly as well (if not a bit yuppy lol).

Umm.......also Soldier's Beach, the lighthouse and the rock pool are all at Norah Head, and very nice places.

    Hope this helps a bit
