Iron On Transfers?

Who knows about these things? I've found a few iron on transfers that I'd like to put onto singlets for ds and all they say is to use a light colored fabric which is at least 50% cotton. But I was thinking of using the bonds singlets which are not completely flat, they have that singlet ribbing/ripple type of pattern all over them as opposed to a T-Shirt which is totally smooth so I know would be fine for an iron on transfer. Who knows if a bonds singlet would work ok for this?

I wouldn't as the transfer won't move with the fabric and will not last. Smooth flat fabric is best
