    Hairstyle help - fast please!

I am booked into a salon for a restyle in 2.5 hours and have no idea what I should have done. My hair is very fine and doesn't hold a style easily and at the moment it is longer than shoulder length which just makes it look limp and horrible. I need to be able to keep it off my face when I'm at work. My face shape is probably best described as oval. Any ideas??? Or should I just walk into the salon and shut my eyes and see what they come up with?

Concave bob? I guess Vic Beckam is the best example of that.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356581903.447827.jpg ? Maybe a bit more choppy and layered than this, if your hair is a bit finer.

Do you trust your hairdresser Traveller? I trust mine completely, and TBH take the view that its hair and it will grow if I don't like it so I will often go into my hairdresser, sit down and tell her to do what she will. I've never been really unhappy with what she's done.

I had shoulder length hair not too long ago and got what I could only describe as a long version of a pixie cut. The week before Christmas I went in and asked her to go the whole way and I love it. It takes literally 3 minutes to dry and style each day. I've got very fine hair, although a fair amount of it ITMS, and an oval shaped face.

TBH I don't think the elongated bob will suit you if you have an oval face, especially if your face is quite slim. I think it could make your face look overly long and drawn, but if its something you like the idea of, run it by the hairdresser for his/her view. Having said that, if you try it and don't like it, its really easy to modify the cut into something else that does work so you can't really go wrong. If you want something that stays off your face though, be prepared to have to tuck it behind your ears all the time, which will alter the style completely

Good luck. I love getting a completely new style.

Sorry lulu I missed your response. I have never found a good hairdresser since moving here so this Oscar a new one and has won all sorts of awards so I guess if I trust anywhere it's this place. I'm scared of having it too short though incase it's horrible and takes an age to grow out.
