New Years Resolutions or New Years Promises

So just wondering what New Years Resolutions you are going to make for 2013...

I'm not going to make a resolution but just a couple of choices that will hopefully make life easier. My first one is that from tomorrow DD is going nappy free and we are going to get TT going as she has shown readiness but is just lazy and thinks she will miss something if she has to use the toilet, so from tomorrow no nappies during the day just training pants for the first few days and then into knickers.

The second thing is to get me into a routine of getting up at 7am every morning (no matter how little sleep I had the night before). I need to start preparing my body clock for when DD starts 3yr old kinder in Febraury and we all need to be out of the house by 9am two mornings a week, plus I'm sick of still being in my pj's at 1pm as once the kids are up in the morning the time seems to fly with doing washing and then dressing and feeding 3 kids and all the other stuff that eats up my morning.

So they are my 2013 changes, what are you planning???

I will complete at least round 1 of the 12wbt.

    DD1 will start toilet training.

I'm going to resume regular counselling.

    Take up a hobby.

New Years Resolutions or New Years Promises

I will not chuck a fit when DH comes home tomorrow even though I am not impressed with staying home by myself with the 3 kids and pregnant while he has gone away for the night with some mates to get drunk.

    Well I will try.

New Years Resolutions or New Years Promises

    1. Fix my eating habits while breatfeeding, to accommodate for my refluxy lactose intolerant DS3

    2. Start using cloth nappies (MCNs) to save money & reduce our rubbish each week.

Good luck with that. I'd be angry - its about family for me!

I'm going to do Documenting Delight - like a 365 project but focused on my moments of parenting delight.

    Less swearing.

More walking (more fresh air and sunshine).

    Less telly.

    More prayer.

You'll love it I did the 365 this year - Peanutter's awesome 365 and it was really eye opening

Be more active in general. So less sitting, being more involved with DD rather than supervising or being on the couch, now that she has outside play equipment.

I've downloaded the C25k app and will see it through.

Start eating cleaner to set a good example for DD and get in shape for ttc towards the middle of the year.

Work hard and get closer to target and keep the boss happy.

Gosh there's so many, where to start!

    * Join the gym after I sell my home gym which doesn't get used
    * Keep up with the house work
    * Get DS out of the house more
    * Make more grain free food

    Less swearing.
.....Aaaaaaand, Less swearing! Thanks for the reminder peanutter!

    Hmmmm.....I'd like to:
try to be more social and say 'yes' to catch ups more often (I got better at this last year but still need to improve)
Try to keep on top of things around the house to stop really crappy jobs building up (for instance I just finished sorting out about a years worth of paperwork) - my house generally looks tidy though, it's just those 'extra' things I don't do well
Try to keep improving out financial position. We've been noticeably better off at the end of the last two years. I would like to try to continue the same, although it will be harder with another small person and me on maternity leave for the year.

I want to save for a house loan! I've been working for a year now and been a little spending crazy with the finances so time to tighten up the belt and save save save!
continue to work on myself - and learn to love and respect me :-)
