Yup, so as the thread title suggests, my 2 year old boy has a rash on his bum-bum and thighs ...
It's not evenly spread, they are little raised red lumps ... they don't hurt or itch, and he has no other symptoms (no fever, vomiting, lethargy, nothing ...).
I'm guessing heat rash, or an irritation to something ...
last summer he got something similar, but I think it was a reaction to the dye in his new sheets ... would you believe we had to wash them six times to rinse all the dye out silly mummy thought one pre-use-wash would be enough ...
Is it somewhat symmetrical? Do they go away when pressed or does the spot stay there?
I ask because my son who is 2 now was diagnosed with HSP (henoch Schonlein perpura) which is an immune disorder. And the spots started on his thighs an looked like heat rash initially. It was a non itchy rash too. It also comes with inflamed joints at times.
Oh well that's great! It took quite a few months to clear up. The inflamed joints was the worst.poor bubba couldn't walk some days
But once it's cleared, apparently it rarely pops up again which is good.
