Any rescue for stored baby clothes that are yellowing?

I pulled out a couple of bags of stored baby clothes, some of which have been in storage since DD was born 4.5 years ago although others only since DS, and there are quite a few items, particularly white stuff, that is yellowing. Any idea on how to get rid of the yellow as much as possible? I'm holding off washing them in case I need to soak in something first.

    TIA

I would soak overnight in napisan or similar. Then wash as normal. Should hopefully remove most of the yellow colour.

Napisan and sun. I was loaned a 30 year old faux fur baby coat that was mustard almost. It came back white as the day it was bought.

If you use napisan or similar make sure you get one that includes the words enzymes on it. Works the best for any stains of a biological origin.

I got hand-me-downs with the stains, think its trapped spitup. Mine came out with a wash with napisan in the load and then sunlight.

jellybean, if i'm soaking colours I do them in batches, eg, greens and blues together, pinks and reds together, but leave the whites and very light colours by themselves.
