    Leaking colostrum for a week

I am 99.9 per cent sure I am not UTD but I have been leaking colostrum from both nipples for a week or so.

This used to happen when I was on ivf meds but I am not taking anything at the moment. My prolactin levels have always been norma. I am a little hypothyroidic but I am on thyroxine so that should be under control.

Wondering on people's opinions as to whether I should sit tight and see if it goes away, or whether I should go to the doctor?

    Thanks

Ps. I haven't breastfed for over 10 years.

I'd go and see the doctor. It's most likely just your prolactin levels going a bit astray but any discharge from your nipples that is not explained by breastfeeding should probably be checked out.

I would go straight to the doctor. Any nipple discharge should be checked out asap.

    Thanks guys

I'm taking comfort in the fact it is both nipples. I am assuming it is hormonal rather than something more sinister.

I'll organise an appt for next week.

Not sure how come MRi showed I had it and then didn't lol but got very unwell as medication they put me on ended me up in hospital numerous times. But yes best to get it checked. Hope all is ok.

    Leaking colostrum for a week

My prolactin levels are unstable, one day they are fine and the next they are through the roof (and I'm on regular medication for it). Best to go get a blood test to see if that's the cause, hope all is fine
