help with present giving ideas please?

Its Dh's birthday next weekend. And this year I (myself and our DD's) have gotten him a gift voucher for a motorbike ride day. Its something he has always wanted to do and we have even talked about us booking him to do it, although I really doubt he thought I would actually do it

So a gift voucher is boring to give, imo. I dont really want to give it to him in an envelope, of even wrapped. I want to do something fun with it. But not so sure what I can do. The voucher was emailed to me, so I can make as many copies as I like. I was thinking of printing it out on cardboard and turning it into a jigsaw puzzle, but he's not a puzzle kind of guy.. So Im stuck.

What creative, interesting ways could we give him his voucher?

    Thanks

Could you do a bit of a treasure hunt / clue hunt type of thing that will lead him to it, eg buy ten little things - fav choc, bottle of beer/wine, fav snack food/ fav deodorant, pair of socks, jocks, etc and have a clue on each one that leads to the next around the house with the last thing being the voucher

I was going to suggest a treasure hunt too.

oooh, now a treasure hunt could be fun, and it would get the girls involved too. the girls dont know what they got him yet so they give the surprise up.
And I could get him things that would throw him totally off what hes actually getting too. ahhh now the creative juices are flowing. Would it be bad to perhaps space it out for the day? Or better to do it all in the morning?

I was going to say treasure hunt too. We do one for our girls now that they're older and its so much fun for everyone to join in on. You could hide little presents along the way. Depending on how it would work for your personal arrangements, if you wanted to spread it out you could do a really cryptic clue that the answer gives him the time that he say has to call home at, and then you can change your home phone message to be the next clue, but only do it so that its active for a few minutes either side of the "right" time.

I'm sure there would be heaps of other ways you could drag it out - send messages by a courier if he works in an office? Send a parcel registered post that he has to go and collect that has a clue in it

Could always pop it in a book or attatch it kind of like a gift tab to his fav bottle of alcohol. Leave it on the dash of his car so when he drives somewhere he sees it. I also like the treasure hunt idea. Or maybe do like a mystery bag. In it you could put a motor bike magazine. Riding gloves other things related to the event then tell him to pack it all as he is going.. Then hold up the enlarged voucher?

A piece of the puzzle, each step of the way through the treasure hunt.....or maybe pieces of a puzzle that releases a secret clue when combined together, to direct your DP to where his extra special voucher is hidden and wrapped for him. Ooh...now thats fun for everyone

Could you send him one part of the puzzle by courier on Friday? Just to start the ball rolling?
