    Bedridden teenager activities

My 17 year old brother is staying with us over school holidays and has broken his femur and is now bedridden for 6 weeks. He is with us another 2 and I am looking for some ideas of things to keep him busy that don't include tv, surfing the net or wii. We have all three of these options already and need anything new!

    Thanks so much!

Is he artistically inclined? Paints/oil pastels/charcoals and a scrap book. Crafty stuff. Card games. Other family games (you need to be with him for that though!) Soduku/crosswords ect- Maybe magazines like that's Life. Building cars/planes/models, lego models. Books on CD's.

Thanks so much!!! I have given him some of the suggestions and he seemed mildly interested in a few... at least he did not grunt at me....!!!

Thank goodness we have a couple of friends driving down from town tomorrow who can bring some goodies with them... else we would have a long 1000km journey to pick up supplies!!!
