Question Online groceries - which provider & why?

    Hello

Here's one for all the online grocery veterans out there: why provider do you go through, and why?

We're trying to set this up, and I'm trying to weigh up the various aspects, especially:
    How easy/convenient is the interface?
Do they have all the products that you prefer to get?
What's the hit rate with being "out of stock" if you're shopping towards the end of the week?
How well do they do substitutions?
Which seems to be better value, and why?

    Interested in your thoughts.

We used woolworths at first but for some reason the groceries were all soggy and wet. Well the plastic bags were mainly but some of the groceries as well. We use coles now, have been for a year. They are pretty good. Deliveries are on time, substitutions are comparable and customer service on phone are very helpful. Now that I have two kids at school I'm gonna go back to buying in store as I have recently realised the everyday prices online are slightly higher than in store.

It's not full groceries but I've found Aussie Farmers great.

I have only ever done it through Woolworths as I found the Coles site too hard to use

I normally end up with one out of stock-pavolva bases never seem to be in stock, essentials like milk/bread I tick the box that says substitution is ok. I would doubt time of the week would impact stock levels too much as most stores get multiple deliveries per week

Delivery charges have gone up. Many items are dearer than those in my local store but I realise Im paying extra for someone to collect my items for me.

I dont buy extras that I dont need, at the shops I always pick up specials and extras. They have my prefered brands

Thye have changed the system so instead of trying to guess how many gm of apples you need you can purchase the number you want

I like that you can save shopping lists with your basics then ad your extras to them

Overall easy to use, more of a cost and I now shop when DH is home with the kids and I like the time out and about all on my own

I use Coles because I find the Woolworths site too tricky to use!

I use woolies, rarely have a problem
And when I do they have been pretty quick to rectify. I got used to the woolies format so found the Coles one tricky.

I use woolies and love it, very user friendly, and I pick it up from their loading dock for free!! So someone does my shopping for free and puts it in my car. Substitutions are always for more or nicer brands than I've paid for, plus I always get more meat than I've paid for. I didn't like his Coles charges you once theyve picked it, so no extras haha. Coles site didn't seem too user friendly to me, but I'm used to Woolworths.

I prefer Coles, the substitutions are good and when they make mistakes they fix it

I ordered 500g of eye fillet this week which should have been around the $14 mark, they sent me 1.5kg for some reason ( and charged me $46!!!) when I rang up they refunded the difference and told me to keep the meat which was nice

I've been using them for over 2 years with minimal issues that are always fixed

I use Woolworths but hubby works for them so coles is banned in our house lol

I always get more meat and deli items than I've ordered/paid for. I swear they just grab random huge amounts lol but I'm not complaining.
