2nd birthday and Naming Day in One

We are having our DS's 2nd birthday and Naming Day all in one. We will be having the ceremony at 11am with lunch afterwards.

I was wondering about ideas for a theme? I can't think of anything at all. I was wanting to stick to chocolate and baby blue but that is about Ali can one up with. HELP....please

I used a fb business not sure if I'm allowed to post her name but pm me if you'd like it. She makes buntings, cake toppers, food labels, all sorts of labels etc and they're fantastic. You could just do the colours you like in a bunting, have balloons, other decorations in those colours not necessarily a theme. She has plenty of examples on her page.

Anything with animals is really cute at that age - a circus theme always gives great scope with colours, decorations etc.

I have also seen a party recently based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar and it looked great! Cake was amazing.

I have seen a few HUngry Caterpilar ones and thought that was cool. It's hard, I kind of feel like some of the themes are too babyish and then the others are too old.

I am up for any ideas at this point!

For my DS's 2nd birthday we did a Bob the Builder theme. Lots of bright primary colours - blue, red & yellow and a bob the builder cake topper. I was excited by the Bob cake but otherwise didn't care! Thomas the Tank Engine for his third & Mickey Mouse for his 4th.

If you look on Ebay, I'm sure I've seen decorations like cupcake papers etc in baby/blue with chocolate polka dots. Looked pretty cool.
