    Infa Secure seats

    After opinions on seats!

We have a 4wd, 3 kids and 1 on the way.
Currently I have 3 Infa Secure trek 8/racer seats. Now need to add a new seat and sticking to IS brand again so I can make the new seat fit (with a booster in the back back of the car). So 2 boosters and RF seat in middle row

Feedback on Kompressor XT and Neon would be appreciated... Good or bad

    TIA!

I've just purchased (today) the Kompressor Caprice. Haven't Ben had a chance to fit it yet though as its raining so can't comment but I've heard good things.

On the site it says it was made so that 3 could fit along the back seat of most small cars. I have a Getz so we shall see!

I have a neon, recently purchased. Seems good. I haven't used it as an infant seat, though. definitely narrower than the S&S we had.

I've now read alot of reviews, all negative (for neon) as far as newborns go as they have very little padding and neck support. On top of that, it won't in the car now!

DF is going to buy the Caprice in a month or two when shops stock them more and in variety of colours

Rossetti I got mine from Pram Warehouse in the purple swirl. They had the green and black there too I think. I saw them on the baby's choice site in the black for sale for $259.

Shonell I love the purple swirl

Rosetti the Kompressors come with more padding for newborns you're right there. Also the base of the Kompressors are slimmer than the Neons. The shell is the same though, still slim seats. They are the same width as the SnS Compaqs, and I don't think you can get simmer than either of them.

I've only seen the Kompressors online I can't wait to see one in real life, hopefully they're not far off being in stores here too.

    Where are you located Willow?

I've been on the hunt today and can get one from Glenhuntly Baby Carriages for $280. They also have my pram for $418. Currently I've got it on layby with Babyco for $499!!

I'm in Canberra. I've only looked as far as the local mall, with Toys R Us etc they stock the Neon (which the call something else) but not the Kompressors. I'll venture out to some baby stores soon and see what they have. We don't need it right away, still thinking we might hire a capsule first. It might be easier with a 3 year old that will run if he gets the chance

Any feed back on the current Infa Secure models that rear face up to 12 months? I have a 10kg 6 month old and don't want to forward face for quite a while.

I ended up with the Kompressor Caprice, can't comment to much on it as DD is only 10 weeks old. I love it, great padding, spacious and slim. They seem very accommodating for extended RF

The new ones out 0-8 years seem to be quite popular.

The Neons and Kompressors are really good seats, lots of people in car seat groups/pages love them. They will RF to an average 30 month old, but, the 0-8s only RF to about a 6-9 month old.

I have recently purchased the neon for my DS 18mnths and he still comfortable is well under the line with the padding still in. He still falls asleep in the car so it must be comfy enough! i am about to buy the equivalent "infa cosi compact" if i can get it in stock at the store for sale price. (need it for DH car) I agree the padding isnt ideal for a new born but we would use our other SNS Meridean for a new born so wasnt an issue for us.

i think i have read somewhere you could use the Kompressor inserts for the neon is that right? and can you even buy the inserts on their own?
