    Losing weight in early pregnancy

I've spent the last 6 months trying to lose weight from my first three babies. I've still got 13kgs to go until I'm back in a healthy BMI range. Is it safe to continue exercising if it means I'll be losing weight too? I'm not doing anything strenuous & diet is playing a huge part but I know ideally you're meant to gain weight in pregnancy not lose it.

I was told it was fine. I continued with my training until 28 weeks and only stopped because my tummy was so big I couldn't do half my normal stuff. I stuck with walks right until I went into hosp at almost 39 weeks.

You may not continue to lose weight but it may limit how much you put on. Depending on your caregivers, they will be happy for this. I was big to start with and told my ideal weight gain was 9kg.

As long as you're being sensible and not going crazy with the weight loss, it should be fine.

With my first, I was going to Curves, I done that up until 32 weeks, I couldn't do all the equipment but still went along

Thanks ladies. There will be no exerting myself because I'm pretty slack with the whole routine thing anyway. I do what I can diet wise but I never starve myself so plenty of goodies for the baby.
