DS2 will be 3 on 3 March. I want to have a small do - only 3 other children will be invited who are his age (and of course their parents).
I really don't like play centres - too noisy. And, if possible I didn't really want it at my place. We have a large dog and little ones get freaked out easily (and she will bark non-stop if I lock her up) plus there are too many hazards as we are on acreage. Besides that, I don't like people - particularly if they don't go home when the party's over ....
I was thinking maybe a visit to Mini Q (Questacon) followed by a light picnic. This will work well if it rains as we can veto the picnic and just have morning tea in the cafe.
Mini Q is always a good option. My kids love questacon!
There's the new reptile park or the dinosaur museum at Goldcreek which also has a great range of cafes to choose from in the area afterwards or the Kingston Miniature Railway can cater for birthday parties but not sure if there is a min. number of children required for a booking?
