Carpet and upholstery cleaner recommendation Melbourne Eastern suburbs

As the thread title says I want my carpets and couches cleaned.

Does any one have a company they have used and can recommend? I am in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Could you sit on the couch immediately?

Did they move the furniture?

How much did you pay?

We hired a machine from Coles and did it ourselves. Pretty sure Woolies have similar. We only did the floors and they needed time to dry. You hire the machine and buy the chemicals.

Yeah. Nah. The plan was to do that but DP is working too hard at the moment and it just won't get done.

I used a someone from the Sth East Suburbs, he was really good and charged approx. $50 per room frOm memory. I also got a rug cleaned but no upholstery. You could walk on the floors straight away, although they were damp to touch. I opened the windows and turned on fans to speed up the drying process. He did move some furniture but not all ie: beds he didn't move but small side tables and lighter furniture he did. I moved some things where I definately wanted it cleaned.
