Yes we have a fresh new thread!!

It would be so cool if BubbaT, you and I were all belly buddies again

Dd has been so sick this week. I've been in emergency and then at the gp. They think she has a virus and a staph infection in the skin in the base of her nose so she has to have antibiotic cream put on there 3 times a day. Poor thing.

Also she is officially out of our room as of last night. I was so sad

    Hi ladies.

Would you believe the mchn told us on Thursday that DS is getting a bit weighty? He is 8 mths old for goodness sake. So now he is down to 3 bottles a day.

How much are you littlies having?

Really?? How much does he weigh? I wouldn't have thought 3 bottles would be much. Dd still has the breast at least 7 times a day! She just eats solids when I do.

He weighs 10kg and is 70cm long. Nah it doesn't seem like much does it.

Daycare gave him an extra bottle yesterday so I guess I will see how he goes today

She normally has some cereal in the morning, whatever I'm having for lunch and then the same for dinner. She still really likes her milk so some days she's more interested in solids than others.

She loves feeding herself though, so I reckon that's why she doesn't eat as much, she plays with it

X was always a good feeder though wasnt he?

    Babies Born ~ June 2012 #2

It would be awesome if we end up Belly buddies again! :-) I was in the vitamins aisle in woollies today searching for iron tablets & I realised I'd better start taking the elevit again soon! Eep! :-D

BubbaT, that's not weighty! He's just a healthy growing boy! lol. My nephew is 7mths & weighs 10kg and is 71cm. He was big born (9lb 8 I think?). My little guy just cracked the 8kg mark! He he.

Hi Milly, mchope and Little O,

DS has been soo sick. He has had an ear and throat infection with temps of up to 39.3. He wasn't out of my arms Monday or Tuesday AT ALL because he simply refused to be put down or sleep anywhere but on me. I ended up having to sleep sitting up with him in my arms. We were so close to taking him to hospital, even my brother who is a paramedic was saying any higher then take him. Thank goodness he is ok now, has some antibiotics. He has never been that sick and I hope he never is again, I felt completely helpless. Also felt plenty guilty because I had taken him swimming the day before he got sick too.

Biggest thing I had blocked out about TTC - That the TWW feels like 3 months LOL

Hope you and the babes are all doing well

Bubba T - glad your little man is OK. Dont feel guilty at all! I remember DD1 had ear infections like that too - and I too had just taken her swimming, didn't realise it was as bad as it was, but took her to the Dr the next day and when he took her temp it was 40! it hadn't been that high the night before. DD1 got them everytime she got a tooth - is your DS getting more teeth? fortunatley DD2 has been OK with the ears (touch wood). thought teething still puts her out of sorts - she only has 2!
good luck with your 2WW - I am just hanging out for Ov! DD1 going through night feeding again, and putting my cycles all out of whack!

BubbaT: how is ds going? Better? How about the tww??

Milly5: has your dd gone back to night feeding too? My dd has started up again. I feel dead! Is it the teething do you think?

Archers Mum: welcome!!! It's crazy how fast they grow isn't it!

    HI ladies -

    hi archers mum!

yes, little O, she has been ALL NIGHT night feeding some nights. she has always been a heavy night feeder. We haven't had consistent right through sleeps. A few times I htought it would happen - she would go for a day or two with all night sleep, only to "trick" me (I swear! LOL) by returning to night feeding again. but the last two months has been at least 2 or 3 times (and again, sometimes me laying with her in my arms attached to the boob asleep in the loungechair all night). And the whole feeding thing takes around 45-mins to an hour (because I have to keep her up for a bit because of reflux) so yes, I am dead tired too! OH FOR SLEEP!! and also, its really messing with my cycles (they are really eratic and often anovulatory) after a bout of especially heavy feeding. And I have horrible acne because of it (that and the sleep depravation) URGH! but she is so happy. she just WON'T breast feed during the day (just wants food), ESPECIALLY if we are out and there is something to look at........ oh well..... sigh... yawn.....
oh and it could be teeth, she has two and has been pulling at her ears, but no ear infection (thank god!). her sister had 8 teeth by now, hers used to come in pairs and in fours all at once! now that was fun as she also got double ear infections with them.....

breakie time ..... DD1 is at day care today, so I am going to try and have all DD2's sleeps with her!! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............
