20 weeks, just slipped over... should I be worried?

I am almost 20 weeks pregnant, this afternoon my DS spilled some water on our lino, and I went flying when I stepped in it wearing thongs. I don't think I landed on my tummy at all, it happened so quick! I have a sore left knee, sore left ankle, sore right hip. With bubs being still so small, I am hoping he/she is really well protected from this sort of thing?? I have an ultrasound on Monday, but not sure if I should try get seen to in the morning or not?? Argh, hate being overly anxious over every.single.little.thing!

bub is very well protected in there. You should both be absolutely fine. It doesn't hurt to get a check up to ease your mind if you are stressing though. Thats what the doctors, midwives are there for.

Hope you aren't too sore for long.

I am no doctor... But if your not having any pain or discomfort in your belly I wouldn't be too worried. Especially if you didn't fall on your stomach.

Do what you need to do to feel comfortable, you know your body

I would think bubs would be very well protected. By the sounds of it, your body took most of the shock in the lower limbs so it is unlikely bubs was impacted.

I would imagine bubs in absolutely and completely fine.

As with anything like this though, if you're concerned, call your midwife, and see if you should come in for a check over.

I fell up some stairs at work at 17 weeks with DD and all was fine The dr assured me that she was well protected

It's always scary when you fall when pregnant

Thanks ladies! In hindsight I probably over reacted in the heat of the moment! Scan yesterday showed a happy bub moving around.
