What about a bit of that odour less powder you can get to put in shoes. Also a quick spray of glen 20 each other might be enough to keep the shoes from smelling. Not sure what you can do about the actual sweating though.
DS1 is the same his feet stink and when check on him at night he is always sweaty and hair soaking wet, we try and make sure at night he is not over dressed and on warm night take doona off him if he has pulled it up.
When home and inside he has bare feet majority of the time.
There's a cure for this. Get a few tea bags, brew them up really strong, then tip them into a bucket/basin of water. Soak your/their feet for 10- 15 minutes. You can either do this 2 or 3 days in a row, or just once a week for a few weeks.
In case you think this is weird & unscientific, its not. The tannin in the tea dries & hardens the foot skin so it's no longer a happy place for stinky feet bugs. I've done it, on myself and on DD1 & it worked both times (DDs feet were really gag-awful). Give it a shot. It won't stop the sweating but it will take care of the smell.
My DH has to wear all leather shoes too. Otherwise it starts and then it takes ages to fix. Once he's on top of it, it's fine. I realise its harder with a little one. Shoes are expensive enough.
