Just a quick question - I haven't updated my information with Centrelink for ages, because I totally forgot what I told them, but when I first applied for the parenting payment, I had about $2,500 in savings (my share) from the sale of our house in tassie.
Of course with moving up to Queensland and moving into our rental property here, that money was gone long ago and I definitely do not have any savings now
My question is - do I have to ring them up and tell them that the money no longer exists? If it makes no difference to my payments I'd rather not sit on there for ages just to tell them that I have no more money
I've looked online and it doesn't appear that I can update that information without calling them....
