    Crazy comfort items...

Whats the strangest thing your LO has become attached to?

DD (just over 2) has become attached to a Royal Auto Magazine. She rocks it to sleep, burps it, yells if anyone touches "My story!"

    It's so cute.

DD1 won't fall asleep until she's checked that her 3yr old kinder graduation certificate is under her pillow

DD3 has taken to sleeping with a sandal of hers. No idea why but she has it wrapped in a wrap with the top of it poking out. She's a funny kid

My DD has had some random books that she has become fond of and haven been carried around and taken to bed. First was "tuttles Cambodian dictionary", and another was 'the beginner's guide to the lathe' (a lathe is a tool).

Not my child, but a child I used to care for, was seriously attached to a fake hair hair piece. It was so ugly and a little disturbing to see a 2 year old stroking a thing that looked like a dead, matted rat.

DD is obsessed with a purple rashie that has a penguin on it, she just calls it 'purple'; an orange rashie with a butterfly on it; a yellow pj top with an owl on it, she calls it 'hoot hoot'; and a blue singlet with Elmo on it.

She drags them around everywhere and would wear all four every day if she could. she's actually sleeping with them rightnow. Today I took her to choose a blanket to replace them, thankfully she loved her new hoot hoot immediately! Just gotta wait for it to dry after being washed and hopefully she can forget about the others!

My husbands Geelong Football Club membership lanyard and card was a fave for a long time.
