How much to pay babysitter?

How much would you pay a 15yo girl to babysit 3 kids, all primary school aged. She would be responsible for walking them home from school and looking after them until 5.30pm, 2 - 3 afternoons a week.

we pay our babysitters half their age, they are all happy with that. And we usually round it up at the end of the day anyway! Plus a bar of chocolate at night!

I would at a first thought think $60 - $80 a week for the 3 days.

When i did baby sitting years ago I got about $10 - $15 and hour.

I was going to pay my Uni student aged cousin $20/hr one night to babysit my big two, she said that was too much and agreed on a flat $50, which ended up being $12.50 an hour. I'd be offering maybe $15? And asking if she is happy with that. Is all she doing supervising?

$20 an afternoon sounds reasonable. I would expect the mum to leave afternoon tea prepared too so all she has to do is supervise

My sister, a qualified child carer, charges $20 per hour. Given that it's going to be regular work, and it's only what, 2.5 hours per day? I'd be offering $20 for the afternoon.
