Sorry about the passing of your mum.
I love my Scanpan knife set, and have Tefal non stick cookware. And the Ikea soup pots I have are pretty good!
We have just bought our first home with the help of my late mums estate.
I am wanting to chuck all the old crap mismatched stuff and am after some recommendations on good quality long lasting cookware, crockery and cutlery.
I don't really cook much but am hoping to change that with the right tools.
There is currently an electric cooktop in the house but we are going to be changing that to gas.

Sorry about the passing of your mum.

I love chefs toolbox cookware.
Cutlery you can't go past Stanley and Rogers.
How exciting!
Thanks Lady. It's nearly a year ago now.
Thanks Feeb will have a look.
I like Scan pan and some Tefal (the more expensive is better).
For everyday crockery, Maxwell and Williams is very hardy.
Hubby loves the furi knives we got as an engagement present. Maxwell and Williams crockery always looks beautiful.
In terms of knives - Wusthof Trident and Mondial.
I love my global knife set.
Cookware = scanpan, but my Raco isn't too bad either, but certainly not same level.
Crockery= maxwell Williams white basics. Don't date, last, and easy wash and always look fine. My good dinner set is a royal Doultan Gordon Ramsey set. Looks awesome and RD give a life time replacement system if you ever break a piece!
Baccarat, Le Creuset and Swiss Diamond cookware.
Mundial knives.
Raco bakeware.
My SIL swears by Bessemer cookware. I'm a miss matched kinda gal myself, so can't help with personal experience![]()
Scanpan, le crueset and wusthof trident here. But I do have a stack of cheapie ikea frypans that I do love too.
Pretty much everything has already been mentioned. Great brands here for sure.
I have Baccarat, Scanpan, Le Chasseur.
But I'll tell you, you can't go past a good cast iron deep skillet. Lodge is a good brand.
Also some good wide American baking sheets, great for everything and so much sturdier than anything you can get here in retail shops. Try catering websites and centres. Just ensure the dimensions are good for your oven.
I had issues with scan pan but love my anolon advanced cookwear.
I like mundial knives too, I
Nai do you know you can claim through your scanpan warranty? My aunty just had all of her scanpan knives replaced.
I finished off my scanpan cookwear collection today.
I know own the 4 saucepan set, steamer, 3 flypans, roaster and rack, knive block, chopping board and much more!
So scan pan seems to be the most common. I've been looking for that stone wear one but can't find it anywhere
Think I will go with Max Williams for dinner set plus the brand I think feeb said for cutlery. There is a place in Sydney called Victoria's basement that has them for great price
Go to Harris Scarfe. They always have good brand saucepan sets and cutlery for half price. That's where I get all my stuff from.
Checkout kitchenware direct online. They have great deals.
