I am fairly pale (ok my legs are like fluro tubes!) and I have a wedding to go to in a little over a week. I am thinking about getting a spray tan but I don't want to be too dark/orange.
I need some advice, what should I look for? How long before the wedding should I get it done? and does anyone have any recommendations for places to go in North Melbourne??
My SIL loves Endota spray tans. You leave it on for as ling as you want the tan to develop then hop in the shower. I'd get it done say on the Thursday if the wedding is on the Saturday. Other places might use a one colour spray tan that may be too dark for your likening.
i am verrry pale too & i recently got my first spray tan before a wedding too i'm south-east melb so my rec isn't any good for you but i got it done on the wednesday (we flew to nz on the thurs) & the wedding was on the saturday. i could tell them whether i wanted it to be light, medium or dark. i went for light because i felt even medium might be too much for my pale skin. it was a great colour - she assured me i wouldn't be an oompa loompa (my description!) because it was violet based so it doesn't get the orange tinge. one thing i didn't realise was (and not sure if this is the case for all spray tans) that you leave it on your skin without washing for a certain amount of time, then i had a quick rinse (no soap) and then a proper shower the next morning. all fine except i looked dirty when i went to the shops on the wednesday afternoon!!
I have had heaps of tans over the years and some VERY bad ones lol
The only product I get tanned with is called Naked Tan. I get it done the day before the event. And exfoliate and moisturizer 24hrs before getting sprayed. This works well for me goodluck!
I'm pale and swear by st tropez tanning products!! I always get a bronze glow not orange. You can do it yourself and they have a tinted moisturizer that is awesome and you can build the colour over the week of the wedding. Priceline sell it, or check their web site for salons that do spray tans.
Vani T spray tan awesome that's what we use. It is not yellow or orange and you can have the traditional tan which develops in 5-8 hours or their Velocity tan which develops in 2 hours
People like different tans for different reasons but most of the time your own skin colour will play a part in how the tan develops on you
