    Double prams

    Hope this is right area

So far I'm tossing up between abc adventure buggy or graco ready2grow

Ds will be 15/16 months when baby is born

It needs to fit In back of a 2010 Toyota corolla sedan

    Not too flimsy

Have you used either of these two?
What did you use? Upsides and downsides?

I'm not even going to consider the strider or city select there way too big

My family day carer has an ABC, it's a huge pram easily bigger than the select or strider. If you are looking for a compact side by side, I'd suggest the Baby Jogger City Mini Double (I have the single of this and its awesome) or the Mountain Buggy Duet. I also have the love n Care Twingo, which I seriously love, but its on the bigger side.

I just watched the Graco demo video. Would you be importing from the US? My concern would be the baby would need to be in the front seat until sitting/head supporting or in a capsule in the rear facing position. I'm not sure if the Graco capsule is sold here? I have an almost 15 month old and he still needs to be strapped in, so wouldn't be using the step part for a while.

have you checked out the new strider compact? it is what I have bought. I have the same car as you, but the hatch and it fits in easily, pretty sure the sedan boot is alot bigger than the hatch too....

    Double prams

I looked at abc and it was smaller than strider and city
The graco can be bought in Australia online I've seen but haven't been able to see it physically

I don't want to get a side by side pram

I just bought a city mini, haven't used it yet (obviously ) but it was highly recommended by a few people. Just from inspection it was really easy to steer and very lightweight. I think the single was about 7.5 kg from memory. They have a double also

I guess you meant the Single ABC with the seat on the hood then? I thought you meant the side by side? The hood on the lower seat is very low and hard to see past with the second seat on the hood/top. It's not a configuration I would personally choose, the top seat has a limited appeal, only good for a baby IMO.

The only graco prams seem to still ship from OS even if the site is Australian, the graco capsules are not for use in Australia I don't think and the prams may not meet Aus standards or have warranty. I have a friend get burnt with a different brand. Can you put a newborn in the rear seat without a capsule? If so, it should be ok, if not, I wouldn't get it.

I don't use capsules so that's not an issue but I'm just a bit worried about spending $300 on a pram incase its just a cheapie

Yeah looking at single abc with seat on top

I just can't seem to settle on a pram lol it's so confusing I'm also considering the Phil and teds but I've heard bad things about it

I have several friends who have PnTs and they love them. I don't really like inline prams at all, I feel sorry for the kid stuck underneath! The MB duet is a really narrow double, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

I don't think the Graco would work well without a capsule for a newborn and small/young toddler. There is a few tandem strollers like the ZuZu Evolution or the bootiq deux which will take a newborn and toddler and fold quite small. I've not tried them though.

Like I said to you yesterday I have a p & t, and like it quite a lot but it can be a little unstable if the child in the front decides to jump out! It is actually also pretty painful getting newborn in and out with the 2nd seat on which is why this time ill be using a capsule with it -but it can't be to terrible I survived it for 3 newborns
Have you checked out the love n care rush pram? It's very similar to a p & ts but is Australian and a lot cheaper? I kinda like the look of p & t promenade. There's also some emore expensive ones like ABC design zoom, bugaboo donkey, peg perego duette, mountain buggy +one, bebecar vector duo, kolcraft contours options, the list goes on..... maybe check out strollersandprams dot com

I ended up getting a p&t dash for $415 including toddler seat and extra liner it's really the only thing that will suit us I loved the p&t dot but it was an extra $400 dh would have prob let me buy it but to me that seems a lot of money extra for the same thing that is a bit smaller and moves a bit nicer

I know lots of people don't like the child underneath in a P&T - mine never whinged and in fact would often fight over who got to go in there as they got older! We loved our sport and have used it up until recently with a 5 and 4 year old!! Enjoy!!

I have the abc adventure buggy (single with toddler seat and double with toddler seat) and its been the best prams I have owned ( have had strider plus with toddler seat and a city mini double and single) the abc was so much easier to push and could still fit my nearly 5 yr old 25kg dd in it

my friend with twins has just bought the steelcraft agile twin as she needed a really flat fold to fit in her kia rio (or some small kia number...cant remember the name exactly lol). she said this was the best one she came across for price and smallness...
