    Baby movements

At what point do you worry about movements?

Baby has been quieter the last couple days and when she does move its slower and not as strong

I'm not sure if this is a quiet week or if shes running out of room or if I should be concerned

Last app at ob she was happy healthy and measuring 1.5 weeks ahead
Only slightly bad things were my high sugar and placenta calcifying early

Could it be because I have had to cut down on sugar?

I've tried having a cold drink but that didn't do much

    Re: Baby movements

firstly I can't how far along you cause im on my phone. but if you are concerned enough to write this post you must be worried, which is enough to warrant a checkup.
things you do is get a nice big icy cold drink, find a quiet dark spot and just sit. drink the drink and give it about half an hr.

sorry have to cut this short. the Spock calls

I'd go and get checked, especially if there is any issue at all with the placenta.

Jellybean, I'd be calling your care team and asking them what they think, if I were you. With a placenta that shows signs of early calcification, it's better safe than sorry.

If you're worried go get checked. Like Arimeh said too seeing as there is an issue with the placenta definitely worth a check. Give the cold drink a go too sometimes laying down will get bub moving after the drink as well. Better to get a check up and put your mind a ease than to keep worrying

Always, always check. It's usually nothing but it's always worth knowing for sure. Better to be sent home with an 'all clear' than to regret not following up on your concerns. Now off you go, it's Sunday. All should be faily quiet an hopefully you'll be in and out before you know it!

The rule of thumb is that if you are concerned, then it's worth getting a check. I hope everything's ok

Many times in past pregnancies I've been worried, I'd rather get checked (and push the thought of 'I don't want to waste their time is everything's fine', better to know for sure your DD is ok

Maybe she is!? I have never thought about it like that, I wonder if they do in utero? It's possible because they do react a sugar hit. Still worth a check if you're worried or at least a call to your midwife or the hospital to ask what they think
