I also have a 2 door Lancer (2003 model so very small) I use the Hipod Senator for my eldest with another forward facing.
This was the narrowest, resonably priced one I could find. Target sell them.
Hi MissM are you after a booster or a seat for a younger baby? Turn a Tots don't go to booster, actually I'm not sure they're even being manufactured any more. There may still be some around in stores though. If you're after a convertible seat for the 0-4 age group then the Infa Secure Neons are made for smaller cars. They are both sort in the shell hight and narrow to fit 3 across in some cars. The Neon is the base model, with the Kompressor range being variations. They have extra padding for newborns and more fabric choices/colours ets. The SafenSound Compaqs are a smaller seat also for 0-4yrs.
I have a two door two seat beetle.
I have the compaq deluxe which last for just under 4 years from birth.
And a infa secure for my big girl which is very narrow and not very bulky.
Luckily my big girl will be big enough to sit in the front seat in a booster seat when number three comes or I'd need a new car.
