Which side?

We have a 7 seater, in the 2nd row one seat folds down. Would you put your child on that side or behind the driver? For some reason I'm just not comfortable thinking of a baby seat there, but wondering if anyone else has/does? I'm sure the seat is fine & I'm just being a stress head

ETA: ill be carrying a baby and toddler - not sure on seat placement? Should I leave toddler in the middle & put baby on the outside?

Not sure about the first one. Is there a place for a bolt on the folding seat? Will the straps (in rearface) slide down the sides of the seat?

I started with my toddler and one side, baby on the other. Easier to get them in and early on DD couldn't be trusted to sit next to the baby. Now i have them next to each other, baby on passenger side and DD in the middle. This gives some room for a very small person to sit on the driver side back seat or to put kinder bag etc on the seat.

I have hooks across all 3 seats in the second row. I'm thinking of having DD2 behind passenger, newborn in the middle & DD1 behind the passenger.

if there is a hook there already then i assume it must be safe and legal to have a carseat in the folding seat.

I have two diff car seats and they didn't fit with DDs on side but did with hers in the middle, so it might be a bit of trial and error to see how your seats fit.

i found it easier to have bub on the side, when doing them up. and dd could climb around him or get in other side.

i don't know if i could even fit 3 seats in my car, would probably have to find 3 slim ones if we were in that position.
