Regression or something else??? Any ideas?

DD1 (5 in August) has been completely day trained for sometime and night trained for about 18months. She still have the occasional wet night which i'm not too concerned about as everything I've read says it's possible they don't fully night train until they are older. At night time, she had undies/or pull ups on. If she wets, she strips herself and then sleeps on the floor next to my bed.

My issue is daytime. In the last week have have had at least one accident each day. Today was 4 accidents. I spoke to the daycare girls who said she isn't drinking much so that wouldn't explain it. When kids regress, is it usually night or can it be day too??? I have asked the girls at daycare to see if anything is going on there that might be triggering something and I have spoken to her here but nothing.

Has anyone else had this?? what did you do??

    Does she have a UTI?

At her age, you should be able to talk to her about why it is happening? Can she feel the wee coming?

Good luck. It must be very frustrating

Is she unwell? Or coming down with something? It might be worth getting her checked over by a GP. What about a continence nurse? Sorry I have no experience, but dd used to have night accidents when unwell.

Id be leaning towards a uti also. If she's not drinking much its very easy for things to 'stagnate' and bacteria to build up really fast. You could take her to the Dr but if she has no other symptoms (eg pain weeing back pain or fever) then personally I'd try get on top of it at home first. LOTS and lots of water to flush her out, cranberry juice does actually work also if its not just flavoured sugar water stuff. Try and cut out or at least cut back on sugary stuff too.
I hope you get it sorted soon its bound to be at least slightly embarrassing for her also at that age
