    Gifts for a class/school

My boys are going to a new school at the end of the term.
Before they leave I thought it would be nice if they could take in a gift for their class/school.

What is a gift that a whole class can use?

DS1 is in year 3 and DS2 is in year 2.

Is there any equipment they need? Do they do class pets? Maybe something like that?

So far my only idea is some nice photo frames.

Just googling do they have bean bags for a reading nook? Books? Or check with the kids as to something that they think they need or that needs updating.

    Thanks.
The worm farm is an awesome idea. So awesome that the school already has one in the vege garden
I like the beanbag idea. DS2's reading nook could certainly do with some bean bags and I found a shop on eBay that is selling their stock for next to nothing.
DS2's class doesn't have a reading nook. It has cousins for floor time but they don't have a lot of space so I'm still trying to think of something for them.

Does the class have their own veggie garden? If so, how about some plants to grow in it, or a scarecrow / bird statue to protect them?

They have their own plot in the vege garden but it's all planted out already
