Do I need to sterilize?

Do I need to sterilize the containers I use to express into? Or is a wash in warm soapy water enough?

Washing them properly and allowing them to air dry should be fine for BM.
I did a blanket sterilisation of pump pieces and bottles etc once a month or so, but it is not necessary. (I used Medela microwave steri bags. Don't use the tablets or powders to sterilise.)
