    Toilet Training Regression...

I need some help as I'm at my wits end...

DD (3 1/2) was fully TT'd In January this year after only 3 days, but she has now regressed and for the past 4 days she has been wetting her pants - so much so that she is now back in training pants as she will happily walk around in wet knickers and pants.

Some occasions it seems that she is holding on too long and by the time she gets to the toilet it's too late and other times she is just too lazy to go to the toilet and wets herself.

She is still dry overnight and will even wake herself during the night if she needs to go, so it's not an issue of not having the sensation or feeling on needing to use the toilet.

This is also only happening for wee's, for poos' she is fine and has no issue using the toilet at all. I have also asked her if her wee's hurt her (incase she has a UTI) and she has told me that it doesn't hurt - but if it carries on I will take her to the Dr to get checked anyway as we are prone to kidney issues so the last thing I want her to get is a UTI.

Any ideas, or has anyone else gone through the same thing. We have now taken away all rewards and treats until she stops wetting herself as she will generally do anything for chocolate or a lollipop.

Has something happened that may be bothering her? Any changes at home, with childcare or anything like that? Those sorts of things can cause regression.

I think some regression is almost the norm, as opposed to a problem. There was another thread just the other day. It might sound flippant, but just go with it, I'm sure it will all sort itself out. Going to the doctor so soon could scare her or embarrass her or make an issue where their really isn't one.
You are right to think UTI, but if she says its not sore and if she's dry overnight then it really does sound like its something she had to do on her own. I only have boys and both find life way more interesting than going for a wee.

Only real change has been school holidays, so she has lost the routine of her kinder mornings on Monday and Wednesday. Maybe once she is back next week things might settle down again.

    Toilet Training Regression...

My 2yo is like that at the moment too, was day TT by the start of the year and just recently she'll have a few days no problem but then a few days of not telling me she needs to go until her knickers are wet. When i ask if she needs to go she'll say no regardless. I've found the only time she'll go by herself before its too late is when she's naked!

It's inconvenient but I think pretty normal
