    Jewellery Boxes

I want a really nice jewellery box! I don't mind paying for a really nice one either, I will be passing the details on to DH to buy me one for my birthday this year.

Does anyone have one that holds everything like your rings, necklaces and other bibs and bobs?

Years ago in Melbourne there was a place in Glenferrie Rd Hawthorn that hand made the most beautiful wooden jewellery boxes. I purchased one for my Sister, I remember it took me months to pay off. I haven't seen anything that has come close to how beautiful this one was. It also played music when you lifted the lid.

I ideally would like a wooden one, open to any suggestions though.

Please feel free to PM links for jewellery boxes that I can look at and purchase online from a reputable place.

    Thanks in advance

Dh bought mine from Angus and Coote jewellers a while back. Has ring section at the top that can be locked. Three drawers. And sides open out with hooks for necklaces.

I bought DD2 one that is a stand alone and has a mirror front and when you open it it has lots of areas for rings, bracelets and for hanging necklaces. It is not a box, does not play music but does double as a dress mirror.

I bought it at one of those gifty shops that have knick knacks, cards etc.

    Just giving you another idea

Howard's storage world. They have one you can add to. One of the trays is for watches/bracelets. Bit $$ but worth it.
