Flixotide for asthma and tantrums

Has anyone found that when their child started taking the flixotide puffer for asthma that their tantrums were massive? My daughter is 3.5years old and has been on flixotide for a week and half and she has been having some major tantrums/meltdowns which Im wondering is related to the steroids?

My sons on flixotide and we didn't get any extra tantrums. Maybe talk to your gp about it. 3.5 years is a very common age for massive tantrums/ meltdowns as my DD the same she is not on flixotide.

Same here. My DD started on flixotide around 2 yo maybe a little later. No tantrums when she took it

Thanks girls, yeah she is a tantrum thrower normally but just wanted to check as she has had an especially bad week of them!

I know ventolin causes behaviour changes/hyperactivity so it's possible flixotide could be having an effect. Every child is different so reacts differently.

Ventolin and redipred both cause my kids to stay awake and be hyper, so maybe the flixotide is doing the same?
