How long for Baby Bonus/FTB update?

Ive heard 20 thousand different time frames for processing of BB/FTB after lodging the forms with Centrelink. The centre staff told me up to 21 days and that they would notify me if it would take longer. Other people though have said its taken theirs up to 4-5mths to start

Just wondering if anyone who has had a baby recently can tell me how long theirs took?

I lodged my PPL claim and about 2 weeks later got a letter requesting I enter more information online. I rang them as i was confused as it was basically entering the same info as was in the first claim. Anyway I did this within a week and it took about another week to receive the letter indicating the claim was approved.

we lodged ours thursday night 11th april online. Handed in proof friday and our 1st installment of BB goes in tomorrow. so 12 inc weekends x 2

Ok that was quick Bea! We lodged ours the day after he was born in person, so April 17.

Beatrix do also claimed dad and partner pay. As the period of leave required to qualify for this payment is unpaid, claims involving it tend to be prioritised. Wait times are currently around six weeks for standard baby bonus/FTB claims

yeah DH also claimed the dad pay at the same time so we have had no income for two weeks

Ours took just under 3 weeks. We didn't claim partner pay.
