Question about the Flu Vac

Is it a live vaccine? and if so can you actually pass the flu virus onto someone in the days after having the vaccine?

Andrew was injected at work on Monday. Yesterday Kameron was complaining of muscular aches and pains, tonight he is complaining about how cold he is and that he has a thumping headache. He is also feeling warm. Not sure how warm because Andrew sent my thermometer flying behind the fridge just today!!
