That is a very clever boy you have and I can feel just how proud you are, beautiful.

Because I am just so damn proud of him!
The last week or so DS (3 and 10mths) has been obsessed with time. Asking us every 5 minutes if it is 11 o'clock yet. So since he can already read numbers up to 12, I took the opportunity to talk to him about how we read the time. He picked it up really quickly and the last few days has been running out to check the time, everytime he hears the clock chime.
He has the hours down pat.
Then last night he told me it is quarter to 5. I nearly fell over when I looked at the clock and it WAS 4:45!
Could not believe it. Hes so freaking clever
That is all.
That is a very clever boy you have and I can feel just how proud you are, beautiful.

that is so cool!
My poor DD1 is still really not on top of time...it frustrates her soo much!
Clever little cookie![]()
awww. how gorgeous
so clever!!
Oh that's so clever!
Super clever! Analogue time telling is something that a YEAR 3 child has a hard time grasping, yet alone at 3 year old!
Thanks girls!!
He is better at reading numbers than counting, he can count to 12 then skips a few to 20. But can tell me that 2, 5 is twenty five or if I say what comes after 32 he can tell me its 33. But he doesnt really "get" the point of counting yet. So I think it will be a while before he actually gets what it means rather than copying what hes been told.
